If you come across a carriage in the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park with a clearly visible white and purple-colored sign "Heidekutscher" - then you can be sure that this coachman is 100% in the interests of nature, animals and safety ...

In the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park, 23 commercial carriage companies have now committed to this quality brand. A quality label for which the carriage companies have to meet a number of criteria:

• The employees of the carriage company are regularly trained and take part in the annual carriage forum in the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park
• The coachmen must have a B coach driving license
• The carriages are TÜV-tested
• The horses undergo regular veterinary health checks

Only when all of these criteria are met can a carriage company use the designation “Heidekutscher” and attach the sign to its carriages. And then you can take you on a very special excursion through the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park. We wish you a lot of fun!
